About Pipestream^®

In 2005, an innovative pipeline technology was developed based on the use of ultra-high-strength steel coil to provide hoop strength. Realizing that a gap existed between the technical advancements of recent years and the traditional approach to pipeline maintenance and manufacturing, cutting-edge engineers set about to apply the novel technology.

In 2008, Pipestream^® Inc was officially founded as a Shell Technology Venture Fund 1 (STV1) company, with the goal of bridging the gap between technology and the end-user. Today, our main focus is to commercialize novel pipeline products which add value through cost-reduction and technical enablement, in addition to substantial HSE benefits.  

Pipestream boasts two new technologies, which are now commercially available and ready for deployment to the pipeline right of way - XHab™ & XPipe™.  Both products are based on the automated application of precision-wrapped, ultra-high-strength martensitic steel and significantly reduce the cost and time typically required for executing pipeline rehabilitation and installation projects.
